Research is central to DAD’s work. The organization conducts and supports research that contributes to understanding governance, education, development, and regional cooperation across Somalia and the wider East African region.
DAD’s research is applied, policy-relevant, and grounded in local context. It aims to generate credible evidence, inform public discussion, and support institutions and decision-makers in addressing complex social and development challenges.

Research outputs are published through DAD’s Publications platform and are used to inform Events activities, capacity building programs, and policy engagement.
